XTB’s Cypriot entity has appointed Pavlina Irodotou as Head of Risk.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Irodotou joined the broker in March and is based in Cyprus.
The executive brings almost a decade of experience in risk management across the retail trading industry.
Before joining XTB, she spent more than five years at IG Group-owned Brightpool Markets, where she served as Head of Risk. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing risk management frameworks across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
Prior to IG, Irodotou spent almost four years at easyMarkets. She initially joined the broker as a Risk Management Associate before being promoted to Head of Dealing on Own Account in 2019.
Her experience spans market, operational, credit, and liquidity risk, as well as regulatory frameworks overseen by CySEC and other international regulators.
XTB’s Cypriot entity has a mix of dealing, customer service, and compliance roles. The bulk of the broker’s business in Europe appears to go through its entity in Poland.
