Antreas Pilavakis joins FunderPro as Operations Manager

Antreas Pilavakis has joined funded trader firm FunderPro as Operations Manager. Pilavakis was most recently with another prop firm, The Trading Pit.

He spent almost three years at the company, which is owned by Tickmill’s founders, moving from being a customer support representative to Head of Customer Support, and finally a Business Project Manager.

FunderPro was launched last year and is owned by Malta-headquartered technology firm Red Acre. The group also owns the TradeLocker, a white label trading platform that is used by brokers and props.

FunderPro has a retail-facing arm and is headed up by Gary Mullen and has operations in both Cyprus and Malta. The company has been marketing heavily since launch, including a partnership with racing driver Ollie Bearman.

However, the company is also relatively unique among other funded trader companies as it also offers a B2B solution. This is easily accessible via the company’s website and has also been marketed heavily over the last 18 months.

Pilavakis is the second major hire in Cyprus for FunderPro over the last two months. In July, the company announced that it had onboarded Petros Kalaitzis as Chief Strategy Officer. Kalaitzis joined the firm from technology provider Tools For Brokers.
