IQ Option launched a prop firm

Although it’s not new, brokerage group IQ Option has quietly launched a prop trading firm over the last 12 months.

The company is called SabioTrade and actually sponsored several Wimbledon players in 2023.

The brand is owned by an IQ Option entity based in Cyprus.

SimilarWeb data suggests the company is targeting Brazil, historically a strong market for IQ Option, and European countries, notably the UK.

IQ Option already has a B2B offering for prop trading, which it offers via its Quadcode tech brand. This is also based in Cyprus.

The company is not the first to launch prop trading. Several brokers, including IC Markets, MarketsVox, and Axi have all tapped into the new market over the last 12 to 18 months.
