Brokerage group Vantage has made a couple of noteworthy changes to one of its key websites.
The Vantage Markets brand – operating under VantageMarkets.com – previously listed itself as a Vanuatu-regulated entity.
That has now shifted, with the boilerplate text at the bottom of the broker’s main page listing a company in Mauritius as the key entity.
Other entities in South Africa, the UK, the Seychelles, and Australia are also listed there, something that was not the case previously.
Strangely, the actual onboarding process suggests you are still onboarding as a client – at least in the UK – with the company’s entity in Vanuatu.
There does not seem to have been a switch among clients signed up with the brokerage firm either.
Vantage is also in the process of liquidating a separate group entity – not the one that manages its local brokerage entity – in Australia.
