Online trading executive Glen Hastings has joined the London office of brokerage group INFINOX as part of the firm’s institutional sales team.
Hastings joins the company from Praxis Digital, a liquidity provider with a license in the Cayman Islands. Praxis did have a focus on crypto but now has offerings across a range of FX, index, and commodities products.
Hastings worked at Praxis Digital for almost three years. The company is part of a wider group, headed up by former FXCM exec Michael Brescia, that also includes retail broker Cerus Markets.
Aside from Praxis, Hastings has held institutional sales roles at IG Group and CFH Clearing, which is now called Finalto. He spent almost four years at the latter company, working as an institutional sales executive from the firm’s London office.
Hastings also spent time on the sales at now-defunct FX liquidity provider Price Markets.
Changes at INFINOX
Hastings joining INFINOX is part of a wider set of changes we’ve seen at the retail broker over the last few months.
The company was taken over by a new group of investors last year, with former StoneX executive Marc Joppeck working as the face of that group.
Over the last couple of months, the broker has made Lee Holmes its new CEO.
Tatiana Kononovich, who was at Alpari-owner Exinity for close to a decade, also joined the broker as General Manager. Last week it was also announced that Aditya Singh had joined the firm as Head of Product and Strategy.
To top that off, the company also opened a new office in London that will act as its global headquarters.
