GTN appoints Salim Sebbata as CCO for Europe

Salim Sebbata

Financial technology provider GTN announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Salim Sebbata as its new Chief Commercial Officer for Europe.

Sebbata has worked in retail trading and investing for over two decades, with roles at firms across Europe and the Middle East.

After a lengthy stint in the investment banking world with Merrill Lynch, Sebbata joined E*TRADE in 2004 and spent almost seven years at the company in senior roles in London and the United Arab Emirates.

After leaving E*TRADE, Sebbata went on to work for Bahraini brokerage group Mubasher. He was also Head of Middle East for CMC Markets and worked for Trade.com.

Sebbata’s most recent role was with London-based broker Capital.com, where he spent just over a year as Head of M&A and Corporate Development.

GTN has several entities across the globe and helps financial services firms add different products and services to their platforms.

The company has partnered with some big names in the neobrokerage space. Clients the company publicly works with include Webull and Revolut.
