MENA neobroker amana on Wednesday announced the appointment of Nikos Tsoskounoglou as Head of Quantitative Market Making & Research in Dubai.
The role covers quantitative trading, automation, and AI-driven research, aimed at strengthening the technology behind the platform’s execution and pricing systems.
Quantitative trading executive Tsoskounoglou joins from senior roles at EBS and ADSS, where amana said he built quantitative market-making and pricing capabilities from the ground up and advanced algorithmic trading. His earlier career spanned London and the broader eFX market, with a focus on pricing and quoting logic, execution quality, and market microstructure analysis.
At ADSS, Tsoskounoglou served as Co-Head of Quantitative Trading, where he and his counterpart were responsible for the proprietary bid and ask prices streamed to clients.
“Technology and AI are reshaping financial markets globally, and Nikos’ experience will support our ambition to continue building smarter, faster, and more scalable trading infrastructure,” said Muhammad Rasoul, CEO of amana.
amana describes itself as one of the MENA region’s leading neobrokers, with more than 500,000 users and access to over 6,800 global and regional assets.
