Digital asset platform BitMart US launched CFTC-regulated prediction markets on Friday, giving users access to 405 live event markets powered by infrastructure provider Plaee.
The product covers sports, economics, politics and digital assets, and is available in 48 U.S. states. New York and Arizona are excluded.
Under the structure, BitMart US acts as the distribution layer while Plaee supplies the underlying prediction-market technology stack, including a white-label trading interface called Prediction Trader, Finance Magnates reported on June 10. In simple terms, BitMart US brings users and front-end access, and Plaee provides the regulated trading rails and liquidity support.
The launch places BitMart US among a small group of compliant U.S. prediction-market venues offering CFTC-regulated event contracts to retail users.
“This launch opens the door to a new category of products that our users are genuinely excited about, particularly the ability to trade on short-term crypto price movements,” said Daniel Huang, COO of BitMart US.
Crypto.com, the registered clearing organization, provides institutional regulatory and liquidity capabilities to operators through Plaee’s technology stack under a separate partnership announced in January.
The move extends BitMart US from crypto trading into event contracts at a time when compliant U.S. prediction-market distribution remains limited.
