CMC Markets has hired long-time industry executive Sidney James for its institutional sales team.
James announced the move in a LinkedIn post today, saying he had joined the London-based broker after spending four years at Vantage Markets UK.
At CMC Markets, he will work in institutional sales covering electronic foreign exchange and CFDs.
Prior to joining CMC Markets, James served as Business Development Manager at Vantage, where he spent more than four years working with professional and institutional clients.
Before that, he held several senior roles at Cresco Capital Markets, including Head of Operations and Senior Institutional Sales. He has also worked at AETOS Capital Group, City Credit Capital, ACM Gold, and Harvest Topworth International.
James brings more than two decades of experience across the retail and institutional trading industry, covering sales, operations, client services, and business development.
In his LinkedIn announcement, he thanked colleagues at Vantage for their support over the last four years and said he was looking forward to building new relationships and opportunities in his new role.
The move adds another experienced institutional sales executive to CMC Markets.
