Retail broker Hantec Markets announced on Thursday afternoon that it will be the official trading partner for football team Fortaleza EC.
The club is based in the northeast of Brazil and finished fourth in the Brazilian top flight last season. The team also typically has among the highest average attendances for matches in the country.
Hantec’s agreement with the club comes just in time for the beginning of the season, which will start at the end of this month and run through to December.
The partnership with Fortaleza will mean Hantec branding will appear across the club’s social media accounts and in other online and OOH locations. Hantec will also get giveaways, behind the scenes access, and other benefits that it can share with partners and clients.
“This sponsorship is a significant step in strengthening our global presence, especially in Brazil, and reinforces our dedication to supporting organisations that inspire their communities to reach new heights,” said Raj Naik, Chief Marketing Officer at Hantec Markets.
This is the second major sponsorship agreement that Hantec Markets has struck for the Latin American region over the last couple of months.
At the end of January the company announced that it had formed a partnership with Spanish team Atletico Madrid, to become the club’s Official Trading Partner for Latin America.
