Online broker Axi launched a free forex webinar series for beginner traders across Latin America on Monday, according to a company announcement.
The first session, titled “What Is the Forex Market and How Does It Work?”, was delivered live via Zoom and covered currency pairs, pips, lot sizes, leverage, and price behaviour. The series is led by trading coach Bárbara Moreno, known as “The Purple Woman,” who Axi says has over eight years of trading experience and has trained more than 4,000 students.
Axi is combining technical basics with mindset coaching, positioning the company as a guide for novice clients while differentiating its client acquisition strategy.
“Education is key to helping new traders participate responsibly. This program delivers both practical knowledge and the mindset needed for long-term success,” said Andrea Rebusco, Regional Head for UK, EU and LATAM at Axi.
Axi said Latin America is seeing rapid growth in retail trading, which it cited as the driver behind demand for accessible financial education in the region.
The webinar series is expected to progress from introductory content into risk management and advanced trading strategies, linking it to Axi’s broader trader-development ecosystem, which includes its Axi Select program.
