BUX partners with State Street for ETFs

Commission-free stockbroker BUX announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with State Street Global Advisors to offers its clients a suite of ETFs.

In a statement, BUX said the partnership means that its client base across Europe can now access the full set of State Street SPDR ETFs.

State Street has one of the largest ETF asset management businesses in the world. The SPDR set of ETFs includes a mix of funds, including those tracking the S&P indices, different fixed-income markets, and emerging market indices.

“We’re proud to team up with State Street Global Advisors to significantly improve our offering in the European investment landscape,” said BUX CEO Yorick Naeff.

“With SSGA’s decades long experience, track record, and global market share, we believe this partnership is the latest milestone for us in our pathway towards becoming a leader in the European retail investment space. This collaboration will offer our clients access to a new range of ETFs, and further advances us in our journey towards making investing more accessible.”

BUX also noted in its statement that the partnership will involve providing end clients with educational content about the range of ETFs.

Clients of the broker can also set up investment plans with the firm so that they invest automatically into a portfolio of ETFs.
