Online trading executive Carla Nemr has joined CFI as Global Director of Business Development.

Nemr will be a familiar face to many in the brokerage industry, as she has been active in the sector for over a decade.

She joins CFI after a brief stint at new broker Tauro Markets, a firm that was launched over the last 12 months and which has hired several other senior executives from the industry.

Prior to Tauro Markets, she worked at brokerage group Tickmill for almost eight years.

That included working as the broker’s Head of Business Development and as Chief Business Development Officer.

Before moving to Tickmill, she held senior roles at other brokers, including Alpari and Amana.

Nemr will be based in CFI’s Dubai headquarters. The emirate has emerged as a major hub for the industry and is a market that CFI has been targeting heavily over the last 12 months.
