Brokerage executive Chris Tsirpi has joined TopFX as Global Head of Business Development.

He made the move to the broker from rival firm HF Markets (HFM), which was previously known as HotForex.

Tsirpi has held sales roles for over two decades but only joined the brokerage industry in 2020, when he moved to Trade.com.

He spent 12 months at the firm in a sales and retention role before moving to HFM in 2021.

Tsirpi was initially a Team Leader in the broker’s sales and business development team. After a year and a half at the firm, he was made Regional Head of Business Development.

TopFX is a Cyprus-based firm, with a license from the local regulator, as well as an entity in the Seychelles.

Like many other brokers today, the company appears to be focused primarily on expanding in emerging markets, rather than the European Union.
