London-based brokerage group CMC Markets has hired Angela Hayward to expand its corporate broking division into Australia and New Zealand.
Angela Hayward has worked in the broking industry for more than three decades. She previously spent over a decade at Australian retail brokerage firm Bell Direct. She also spent more than seven years at E*TRADE.
The team she is joining has only really been operating in London and the UK market so far.
Called CMC CapX, the division offers corporate broking services. Its primary activities in the UK have been helping small-cap and privately held firms raise capital from investors.
The company recently launched a product called Spotlight, which is aimed at promoting firms looking to raise capital with investors, primarily via video content.
