Brokerage executive Darius Anucauskas has moved to Markets.com to work as the company’s Global Market Analyst.
He joins the retail broker from rival firm easyMarkets, where he was Head of Market Analysis. Anucauskas joined easyMarkets just under two years ago and was originally the broker’s Head of Business Development for Europe.
Prior to joining easyMarkets, Anucauskas worked at JFD Brokers for five years, in the broker’s Cypriot office.
During his time at the German firm he worked as a Market Analyst, as well as a Portfolio Manager for EAs and other trading strategies, which were being used with the broker.
Markets.com is the retail arm of Finalto. TradeInformer understands that the broker has undergone a few changes in the last couple of months.
Most notably, the broker shut down its UK retail offering and was looking to sell its client book for the country.
Looking at the company’s ad spend, it appears the firm is attempting to shift to a focus on emerging markets, like many other players in the industry.
