A former Chief Operating Officer at Hantec Markets has moved to rival Aussie brand TopWealthTrading as Managing Director.
Damon Sze worked for the Hantec Group for over seven years. He was initially working from the broker’s Hong Kong office in a business development Role.
In 2023 he began working for Hantec Markets’ Australian entity from the firm’s Sydney office. He was Marketing Director at the company for almost two years and was made Chief Operating Officer earlier this year.
TopWealthTrading is based in Australia, with an operational office in Melbourne.
The broker appears to part of a wider group that is owned by Hong Kong gold broker Top Wealth Bullion.
However, the company does not have a local license and instead operates using a regulatory license from Vanuatu.
Although the company launched in 2020, it’s unclear how active it actually is. Web traffic to the site is low and the firm does not appear to have a large number of employees.
It seems that the company is primarily targeting clients in Vietnam and Thailand, as well as Chinese-speaking customers across Asia.
