The founder of retail broker Fullerton Markets has launched a venture capital firm called Masha Ventures.

Mario Singh appears to have set up the investment company, which is based in Singapore, last year.

The VC’s site lists a number of existing investments, the majority of which appear to be companies that Singh started himself.

However, other firms include a skincare brand and an investment in another venture capital firm, that invests in B2B companies in APAC.

Singh has been involved in the online trading industry for about two decades. Originally an educator for the sector, he then worked at broker FXPrimus as Director of Training and Education for almost six years.

After leaving the company in 2015, he launched Fullerton Markets, where he was also CEO until 2022.

That year he moved to become Chairman of the firm. Singh’s LinkedIn profile shows he is no longer in that role, although the listing of the broker on the Masha Ventures site suggests he has not sold or left the business entirely.
