Brokerage firm IG Group has shuttered its office in South Africa, TradeInformer understands.
The broker had long used the country as a place to outsource different functions, including marketing and compliance.
Last year the firm gave up its license in the country and stopped doing business locally. However, the company continued to have an operational base there.
The brokerage group continues to have large scale operational offices in India and Poland.
