Brokerage executive Marcelo Delgado has joined the brokerage firm AIMS as its new Head of Latin America (LATAM).
Delgado joins the company from liquidity provider and retail broker B2PRIME, where he spent the last 12 months as Senior Business Development Manager.
He has worked in the LATAM brokerage market for a decade.
In 2015, Delgado started working at social trading firm TradingPal. The now defunct company provided copy trading services to customers in Mexico.
Since leaving TradingPal in 2018, he has held senior roles at brokers Moneta Markets, EC Markets, and TigerWit.
AIMS is a Labuan-regulated broker, which appears to primarily target the ASEAN region.
The company has sponsored Malaysian sportsman Abraham Eng and actor Zhang Yaodong in the past. The broker was also a trading partner of Premier League football team Tottenham Hotspur.
