Retail broker Plus500 announced on Tuesday that it has been added to the STOXX Europe 600 Index.

The index is made up of a mix of small, mid, and large cap stocks from across Europe. That includes non-European Union countries, like Norway, Switzerland, and the UK, where Plus500 is listed.

“Plus500’s inclusion in the STOXX Europe 600 Index for the first time is a significant milestone for the Group and serves as an important recognition for the compounding value creation we have delivered in recent years,” said David Zruia, CEO of Plus500.

“With the Group’s robust fundamentals, disciplined approach to capital allocation and strong cash generation, we look forward to continuing to execute against our strategic roadmap objectives and to delivering attractive and sustainable returns for our shareholders.”

Despite the generally negative perception that people have of the UK stock market and of the attractiveness of players in the CFD space, Plus500 has regularly been the most successful company, on a total returns basis, listed on the London Stock Exchange since it went public in 2013.

Total returns for the company have been in excess of 5,000% since its IPO.
