Brokerage executive Rabih Abuhadra has joined the Capital.com MENA office in Dubai as a Senior Premium Client Manager.
Abuhadra spent the last decade as part of IG Group’s local premium client manager team, also in the Gulf city state. Prior to this he had a five-year stint at rival broker Saxo Bank.
Capital.com’s Middle East CEO – Tarik Chebib – would have been the Head of Sales for IG MENA at the same time that Abuhadra was there.
Although it has built up an impressive European business, Capital.com has also been very successful in the MENA region as well.
For example, the company is currently the 10th most-downloaded financial app in the UAE on the iOS App Store. The region was also highlighted as a strong point for the business by former CEO Peter Hetherington when we spoke to him last year.
