Revolut hiring for broker roles in Cyprus

Neobank Revolut is hiring for three roles in Cyprus, with suggestions it plans on building out its crypto and trading operations in the country.

The company is currently hiring a Head of Brokerage for its cryptocurrency entity.

Revolut is one of several firms, including Trading 212 and eToro, that has a crypto asset services provider (CASP) license in the Eastern Mediterranean island.

The brokerage role seems like a combination of a trading, compliance, and operations role.

Revolut is also hiring an outsourcing manager for its crypto offering. This is more to do with working with third party providers.

More interesting is the company’s hiring for a compliance manager in the country. According to the Revolut job spec, this role is not for crypto but will sit within the company’s Wealth & Trading division.

Significantly, it requests that they have an understanding of product manufacturing requirements. This is something commonly associated with derivatives, including CFDs.

Revolut recently launched a trading product for Europe, with cash equities and CFD trading. That product is being offered via a white label agreement with CMC Markets.
