Saxo Bank makes Hitchen MENA and APAC Head

Danish brokerage group Saxo Bank announced on Tuesday that Damian Hitchen has been appointed Regional Head of APAC and MENA.

Hitchen is based in the UAE. He has been with Saxo Bank since 2021 as the CEO of the broker’s MENA division.

He was previously the CEO of Swissquote’s MENA of and APAC entities as well, spending time in both Singapore and Dubai in that role.

Saxo Bank also said on Tuesday that Mahesh Sethuraman will be CEO of Saxo Bank Singapore. He has been with broker for over six years.

The personnel changes at the firm come on the back of Adam Reynolds leaving Saxo Bank in September of this year.

Reynolds was Saxo Bank’s Asia-Pacific CEO for a decade. He was based in Singapore.
