Brokerage group STARTRADER has made Muhammad Padhani its new Chief Commercial Officer.
“[It’s] an exciting opportunity to lead a commercial drive, boosting revenue, and growth, building strong relationships with the team and having fun along the way,” said Padhani.
Padhani joins the company from INFINOX, where he worked, with the exception of a brief stint at Vida Markets, for a decade.
Initially Head of Client Services, he went on to become the broker’s Head of Sales and Commercial.
Padhani left INFINOX not long after CEO Jay Mawji parted ways from the firm earlier this year.
INFINOX was acquired by a new set of investors, with former StoneX executive Marc Joppeck operating as front man for the new owners.
Since then the broker has made a couple of key hires, bringing in Daniel Skowronski as Group Executive Director and Tatiana Kononovich, a long-time Exinity executive, as General Manager.
STARTRADER has its main base of operations in Dubai, where Padhani will work from.
The company is part of a wider group of businesses that operate in the industry, which includes a number of other large brokers.
