Stavros Vassiliades is set to leave Pepperstone, after five years with the Aussie broker.

Vassiliades joined the company in 2020 as a Compliance Manager and was also responsible for anti-money laundering reporting.

In January of 2022, he was promoted to Head of Compliance and was made an Executive Director of the broker’s Cyprus-regulated entity.

Before joining Pepperstone, Vassiliades was the Head of Compliance at the entity which owned SpotOption.

Vassiliades originally worked in climate risk and worked for companies like KPMG and, in the public sector, for the Cypriot Ministry of Finance, in its Department of Statistics.

Pepperstone acquired a license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission in 2020. The company had previously used its UK entity to passport across the European Union, something which was no longer possible after Brexit.
