Former employees of brokerage group Trive appear to have taken control of the company’s LATAM-focused LinkedIn account and are using it to post about not being paid by the firm.

Over the last week, the broker’s LATAM account has been posted on numerous times, with the executives claiming that they have not received their wages from the broker since November.

“A Public Statement on Unpaid Wages and Corporate Accountability,” the account’s initial post said.

“It is with deep regret that I am using this platform to address a critical internal matter that has remained unresolved through all private and professional channels. Since November of last year, multiple team members, myself included, have been working without receiving our earned compensation. Despite numerous follow-ups and a formal termination notice in early January that explicitly promised a full settlement by the end of that month, the company has failed to honor its legal and ethical obligations.”

Although they are writing from the LATAM account, the employees appear to be based in Malaysia.

“We’ve spent months trying to resolve this privately and professionally, but we’ve reached a point where transparency is the only tool we have left,” said the page on Monday. “Despite our repeated efforts to get an update, we haven’t received a single response regarding the money we are owed.”

Trive’s owner Kasım Garipoğlu was banned from working financial services in the UK last week by the Financial Conduct Authority.
