Brokerage executive Vikas Lakhwani announced the launch of a new brand on Thursday – 9X Markets.
The company is registered in Mauritius and appears to have its base of operations in the United Arab Emirates.
9X Markets offers leveraged trading in stocks, commodities, indices, FX, and cryptocurrencies.
Lakhwani is likely to be a familiar face for people in the online trading industry.
Most recently he was Chief Revenue Officer at CPT Markets, a role he left in April of last year. He has also held sales roles at IG Group, CAPEX.com, and Axi.
Lakhwani’s longest stint at a firm was with Axi, where he was ultimately made Head of MENA Sales.
Lakhwani announced the launch of 9X Markets, which he is Co-Founder of, via social media.
“New chapter in my journey: 9X Markets,” he wrote. “This wouldn’t have been possible without the support, encouragement, and lessons I’ve gained from so many of you over the years. Thank you for being part of this journey.
