Online trading executive Zoltan Nemeth has joined prop trading firm FunderPro as its new Head of Business Development.
Nemeth has worked in the industry for over a decade. He began his broker career at IronFX in 2011 and spent four years at the Cyprus-based firm.
Following his time at IronFX, Nemeth had stints at brokers eToro and TeleTrade.
He then worked at broker Orbex for three years, with his final 12 months at the firm spent as Head of Global Sales.
After leaving Orbex, Nemeth then worked as the Chief Operating Officer of Swissquote’s Cypriot entity for two years. Since leaving the Swiss broker, he has worked on contract as a broker CEO and for 12 months as the Head of Growth at copy trading firm ZuluTrade.
FunderPro growing
Zemeth’s move is a sign of the growing impact that prop trading is having on the industry.
FunderPro was launched in 2022 and is backed by investment firm Deus X Capital.
The company, which has offices in Cyprus and Malta, offers a prop trading product for retail clients, as well as a B2B offering for other companies that want to launch a prop.
The prop firm was unique in being one of the only companies to actually provide traders that pass its challenges with a live trading account, something that is becoming more popular among prop firms as a way of managing risk.
