Liquidity provider Finalto has made Luis dos Santos its Sales Director for Latin America.
Santos has been with the company’s retail arm – Markets.com – for almost a year, working as Global Head of Business Development.
Like other emerging markets, Latin America has seen big growth in the last couple of years, with more firms targeting the continent after leverage restrictions were imposed by European regulators in 2018.
Santos is a native Portuguese speaker, so can presumably be of help with the Brazilian market, which is growing substantially.
Santos has been in the retail broker industry for over a decade. He started his career at UK-based IG Group, and has held senior roles at other firms, including London Capital Group and Trading 212.
