Capital markets software vendor Genesis Global on Wednesday announced five senior promotions across its London, New York, and Bengaluru offices, citing growing client demand for help moving AI-enabled software from prototype to production.
David Perkins was promoted to Executive Vice President, Sales & Strategic Growth and Head of Sales. Shahin Askari, who joined in 2023 as Chief Platform and Architecture Officer, becomes Chief Technology Officer. Michael Henson moves up to Chief Delivery Officer and joins the Executive Committee.
Jay Taylerson takes the new role of Executive Vice President, Engineering Excellence, while Raminder Ahuja becomes Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, India, overseeing the Bengaluru engineering center.
The company describes its role as wrapping AI-assisted development in capital markets-specific workflows, integrations, and governance controls.
“The industry is discovering that generating code is only a small part of the challenge,” said Tej Sidhu, President and Chief Product Officer. “What ultimately matters is whether software can operate reliably in production.”
Genesis said it now works with nearly 30 banks, brokers, asset managers, trading venues, and clearinghouses. Strategic investors include Bank of America, BNY, and Citi.
