ATFX invests in eFX tech firm Spark Systems

Brokerage group ATFX has invested in Singapore-based eFX technology company Spark Systems.

ATFX took part in a series C funding round for the firm. Other investors include HSBC and Citibank.

“This collaboration with ATFX represents a significant step forward in our mission to deliver exceptional trading solutions,” said Founder and CEO Joo Seng Wong. “Together, we will empower ATFX clients with enhanced access to liquidity and offer advanced trading capabilities.”

Spark Systems provides a number of different technologies to participants in the FX markets. That includes an aggregator, tools to distribute pricing, and a white label platform.

ATFX’s investment in the company will mean that there are opportunities for ATFX Connect, the institutional arm of ATFX, to distribute its pricing and liquidity via the platform.

“Investing in Spark Systems aligns with our strategic vision to enhance our institutional offerings and drive innovation in the eFX space,” said Joe Li, Group Chairman at ATFX. “We believe that this will benefit both organisations and provide our clients with improved trading solutions, especially in the Asian region.”
