Trading technology and liquidity provision group B2BROKER announced on Thursday that it has secured an investment banking license in Labuan.
For B2BROKER, the license will allow the firm to offer a prime broker-style offering to clients.
That includes credit facilities and margin trading services. The license also gives the company the ability to operate as a market maker.
Several large financial institutions hold the same license, including JP Morgan and BNP Paribas.
In the online trading industry, Exness also holds an investment banking license in the Malaysian offshore financial centre.
“Obtaining this licence is more than another regulatory achievement for us,” said Arthur Azizov, CEO & Founder of B2BROKER.
“The new licence lets us put real banking services right into our technology and liquidity systems, unlocking the final piece of our ecosystem. Now, our clients can easily access credit, risk management, and advisory services across borders, all fully regulated and built to institutional standards.”
