Pepperstone has secured the necessary permission to market and promote its brand in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The broker has successfully applied for a Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) Category 5 license in the country.
The new license will sit alongside the London-based group’s Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) authorisation, which will remain active. The firm will offer both licenses to its UAE clients and partners.
Pepperstone’s Head of Middle East Gescard Hessen said: “Securing our SCA Category 5 license and opening our onshore office in Emaar Square is a strategic milestone for Pepperstone in the Middle East,
“The UAE is one of the most dynamic trading hubs in the world. Operating onshore under the SCA framework allows us to stay closer to our clients and partners, respond faster to evolving market needs, and deepen our investment in the region’s growth story.”
