Sucden Financial has appointed Bruno Almeida as Chief Financial Officer.
Almeida joined the firm in September 2024 as Executive Director and Director of Regulatory and Financial Risks.
Almeida previously served as Chief Financial Officer for the UKMEA region at FNZ Group.
His earlier roles include serving as an executive director and board member of FNZ Securities Ltd, working as a lead associate in the Financial Conduct Authority’s Prudential Specialists Department, and holding positions at Itaú BBA International plc and KPMG.
Sucden Financial said Almeida’s appointment has received approval from the Financial Conduct Authority.
The firm’s Chief Executive, Marc Bailey, said Almeida has contributed to the company through the development and implementation of enhanced capital and liquidity risk management frameworks.
Bailey added that Almeida’s experience will support the company’s expansion into new markets and its broader growth strategy.
Almeida said he plans to focus on strengthening the company’s financial framework and continuing to develop its technology platforms to support future growth.
Sucden Financial operates as a multi-asset execution, clearing, and liquidity provider across foreign exchange, fixed income, and commodities markets.
The firm has been active in financial markets for more than five decades and is supported by its parent company, Sucden, a global soft commodity trading group.
