RADEX MARKETS has appointed Hakam Thalji as its new Head of Trading and Risk, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it seeks to enhance its capabilities.

Thalji brings more than 20 years of experience in financial markets.

He has previously held senior positions at several global brokerage firms, including Mawarid Securities, Squared Financial and Orbex.

In his new role, Thalji will be responsible for overseeing trading performance and risk frameworks across the business.

His remit includes optimising trading conditions through close monitoring of spreads, swaps and execution speeds, with the aim of maintaining a stable and competitive trading environment.

He will also focus on strengthening risk oversight by implementing defined risk parameters and exposure limits designed to protect both the firm and its clients.

In addition, Thalji will lead liquidity management initiatives, including the development of relationships with tier-one liquidity providers to support consistent, high-quality trade execution.

The appointment reflects RADEX’s ongoing efforts to improve operational standards and maintain a secure and professional trading environment for its global client base.

In November, the broker integrated PayRetailers as a new payment method, expanding its transaction options for clients in Latin America.

The company has been making a particular push into Argentina, having partnered with local introducing broker Karina Fabi.
