The Head of Risk at brokerage group SquaredFinancial has left the company to join bridge and risk technology provider PrimeXM.
Ameer Alhindi has worked in the online trading industry for over a decade, almost exclusively in trading desk roles.
He started out at Xtrade, where he initially held a customer support role, before working as a dealer at the broker for over four years.
After leaving Xtrade in 2018, Alhindi went on to work for a number of brokers in senior trading roles. That included stints as Head of Brokerage at StreamsFX and Senior Risk Manager at MultiBank.
Alhindi then moved to SquaredFinancial in mid-2024 to work as Head of Risk. His LinkedIn profile shows he left the brokerage in November.
Alhindi is the second senior trading team executive to leave SquaredFinancial over the last couple of months.
Broker RADEX MARKETS announced on Tuesday that it had appointed Hakam Thalji as its new Head of Trading and Risk. Thalji was previously Head of Dealing at SquaredFinancial, having joined the broker at around the same time as Alhindi.
SquaredFinancial handed back its Cypriot license towards the end of last year, with the broker allegedly facing financial difficulties.
