Rostro Group, the company behind the Scope Markets and Scope Prime brands, has promoted Sam Steele to Group Chief Strategy Officer.
Steele joined Scope Prime at the start of 2022 and had worked as Chief Investment Officer at the firm since then.
The new Chief Strategy Officer has worked in the online trading industry for two decades.
He initially worked at retail broker City Index in a sales trader role and spent close to six years at the company.
After leaving City Index in 2011, he joined GAIN Capital, which would later acquire City Index in 2014.
Prior to joining Scope Prime, Steele worked at TradeTech. That firm has since rebranded as Finalto.
Rostro has made a couple of senior personnel changes in the last few months. Towards the end of last year, the company hired Kate Mason-Keaney as Chief People & Organisation Officer. Meanwhile, Scope Markets CEO Pavel Spirin switched roles to become Chief Growth Officer at Rostro Group.
