Capital.com has announced a platinum sponsorship agreement with Vladimiros Tziortzis, the Cypriot driver competing in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, for the 2026 season.
The partnership was unveiled at an event in Nicosia on Tuesday, with Capital.com’s European CEO Christoforos Soutzis in attendance. The fintech firm said the deal reflects its commitment to supporting local talent from its Cyprus-based European headquarters.
“This partnership is part of our broader commitment to support local talent,” Capital.com said in a statement announcing the sponsorship.
Tziortzis is the most successful Cypriot driver in the history of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series by results. His career in the championship began in 2020, and in the EuroNASCAR 2 division he finished third in 2022 and second in 2023, when he also set a record for the most pole positions in the division’s history with 12.
The driver has since moved up to the EuroNASCAR PRO division, the top tier of the series, where he joined French team SpeedHouse Racing in early 2025 to drive the No. 64 Ford Mustang.
“Representing my country Cyprus in a FIA certified and NASCAR authorized championship makes me even stronger,” Tziortzis said previously of his motivations.
Capital.com said the collaboration highlights shared values between motorsport and regulated financial services, specifically discipline and performance under pressure. The firm has expanded massively in recent years, reporting $1.5 trillion in global trading volumes in the first half of 2025.
The company has carried out community engagement initiatives in Cyprus, including a €50,000 donation to the Cyprus Red Cross for wildfire relief in August 2025.
For Tziortzis, the platinum-level backing provides financial stability for a competitive campaign in the PRO division, where budget requirements for technical development and logistics are considerably higher than in lower categories.
The 2026 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season will see Tziortzis compete at circuits across the continent, including venues in Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy and Belgium.
