Brokerage executive Andrew Rebusco has joined Axi as its Regional Head for the UK, EU, and LATAM.
The new Axi executive was most recently at rival firm Onyx Markets, where he was Managing Director.
Rebusco helped build out Onyx’s retail trading offering, which went live last year. The company had historically been a market maker in the oil markets.
Prior to Onyx, Rebusco worked at Moneyfarm for two years as Head of Brokerage. He was also at fixed-income investing platform WiseAlpha for just over three years, working as Chief Commercial Officer.
Rebusco’s longest stint at a firm was with IG Group, where he started working in 2009.
He spent almost a decade at the company and was promoted on multiple occasions, eventually becoming Head of Trading Services for EMEA.
