Brokerage firm Zeal Group has hired Ahmed Pasha as its new Global Head of Risk and Trading. Pasha will work from the group’s London office.
He joins the company from rival brand Equiti, where he spent just over six years in different trading roles.
Initially a Trader, he was promoted twice and spent the last three-and-a-half years as the company’s Head of Trading Analytics.
Pasha has worked in trading roles for 15 years. He started out at One Financial Markets and spent close to seven years at the MENA-focused broker, which was acquired by Axi in 2019.
During his time at the firm, he worked in different dealing roles. After leaving One Financial Markets in 2018, Pasha moved to GKFX, where he had a brief stint before joining Equiti in 2019.
Zeal is one of a small number of firms to have maintained a UK license and set of operations, although the firm does almost all of its business elsewhere.
