FTSE 250 broker CMC Markets’ institutional division, CMC Connect, launched new Prime Services capabilities from London on Thursday, with onboarding available across the UK and the Middle East.
The offering includes cash and synthetic prime brokerage, direct market access (DMA), smart order routing, and financing solutions for institutional clients.
The rollout gives institutions access to global cash equities, ETFs, and synthetic single-stock exposure through either FIX connectivity or the CMC Connect platform, with execution across exchanges, multi-lateral trading facilities (MTFs), and liquidity venues worldwide.
“Institutional clients increasingly expect multi-asset solutions that combine execution, financing, and technology within a single environment,” said Chirag Gajjar, Head of Prime Finance at CMC Markets. “Expanding our Prime capabilities strengthens our ability to deliver more integrated and tailored solutions across global markets.”
CMC Markets operates regulated entities in both regions, with CMC Markets UK Plc authorised by the FCA and CMC Markets Middle East Limited regulated by the DFSA in the DIFC, company legal documents show.
CMC Connect already markets multi-asset liquidity provision and trading technology to what the company says is a base of more than 150 institutional partners globally.
