Online trading platform Capital.com on Monday enabled an MCP Server plugin that lets clients access their accounts from within AI assistant environments, including Codex, Claude Desktop, and Cursor.

The free, open-source tool connects a trader’s Capital.com account to a compatible AI assistant running on their own device. It shows live market data, open positions, portfolio exposure, historical prices, and aggregated client sentiment inside the AI interface, reducing the need to switch between research and execution platforms.

Clients can place trades from within the AI environment, but all orders pass through a mandatory two-step preview and confirmation sequence before execution. Capital.com said the tool does not make or suggest trading decisions.

The plugin is available now at no additional cost to eligible clients of Capital.com Mena Securities Trading LLC, authorised and regulated by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) in Dubai.

“This integration is designed to help close that gap and make the path from research to decision more coherent,” said Sasha Gubochkin, Chief Product Officer at Capital.com.

Capital.com is the second broker to launch an MCP server in recent weeks. ThinkMarkets rolled out a similar integration on June 1.
