Crypto exchange Bitget has partnered with payments layer Paydify to expand stablecoin payment acceptance for merchants worldwide, the company announced on Tuesday.
The collaboration lets merchants connected to Paydify reach Bitget’s 125 million global users through a single payment integration. Paydify acts as a unified gateway for on-chain stablecoin payments across wallets and blockchain networks, with merchants retaining control over funds without intermediaries.
Bitget said the partnership reinforces its Universal Exchange (UEX) model, which consolidates trading, holding and spending into one environment. The company cited a16z data showing consumer-to-business stablecoin transaction volume grew 128% year-over-year, while noting that merchant adoption has been held back by fragmented liquidity and disconnected payment networks.
“Our partnership with Paydify extends that vision into stablecoin payments by helping merchants connect with Bitget’s 125 million global users through simpler, more efficient infrastructure,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget.
The companies worked together in 2025, when Bitget Wallet became Paydify’s first wallet integration partner, enabling users to pay with USDT and USDC at merchants supporting the platform. The latest deal extends that relationship to the exchange level.
