FTMO hires Michael Kamerman as CEO of broker division

Funded trader company FTMO has hired Michael Kamerman as CEO of its new brokerage division.

Kamerman was previously CEO of retail broker Skilling, where he spent close to four years. Prior to that he spent over 15 years at FXCM, where he started his career in the mid-2000s.

FTMO was the main pioneer in the prop trading space. Tax information in Czechia, where the company is headquartered, suggest it is making as much as the major retail brokerage players in revenue terms.

When we interviewed CEO and Co-Founder Otaker Suffner earlier this year, he noted that the company was looking to expand into the brokerage space.

The company has also made other acquisitions, including buying a quant-based prop trading company and a digital marketing agency.
