Financial Markets Online launches in Dubai

Financial education provider Financial Markets Online has launched a new office and trading floor in Dubai.

The company provides training courses and events for people interested in learning about trading. Courses are provided for beginners up to advanced traders.

Financial Markets Online was launched in the UK in 2018 by James Bentley and Sam Fuller.

Bentley was previously a trader at institutional brokerage firm ICAP and Fuller worked at asset management group Janus Henderson.

The company says that it has become the largest training provider in the UK since launching six years ago and is now looking to expand its footprint in Dubai and the wider Middle East region.

“We have launched a trading floor in the heart of Dubai to focus on developing a new pool of talented traders,” Bentley told TradeInformer. “We run Ofqual regulated trader training programmes up to a Level 5 Advanced Diploma in financial trading, equivalent to a UK degree, which enhances employability tremendously.

“We will be offering beginners to advanced trader training programmes in person, with the ability to become a funded trader under FMO. We have won multiple awards for our education and this year were again named Best Trading Educator 2024.”

Dubai has emerged as a major hub for the online trading industry over the last five years. A large number of brokers now have operations in the UAE, either to attract local clients or as a hub to manage their businesses across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
