Brokerage executive Michael Michaelides has joined IC Markets as Head of RTO. Michaelides is based in the company’s Cyprus office.
Prior to moving to IC Markets, Michaelides was Head of Dealing at Magic Compass – a Chinese brokerage firm. He spent just over two years at the company.
Michaelides’ background is in engineering and he worked as a civil engineer prior to moving into the retail trading industry.
IC Markets does operate via a CySEC license. However, the amount of traffic its European entity’s website gets is dwarfed by its other operations in Australia and the Seychelles.
Michaelides may be filling the role that was vacated by Tasos Savva this month.
Savva only joined IC Markets in June but he has already parted ways with the firm. He joined Eightcap this month as a Senior Brokerage Officer.
