TradeInformer understands that compliance executive Leven Li is set to join cryptocurrency trading firm Crypto.com as its Head of Compliance for the MENA region.
Li has worked in compliance for around a decade and has held roles at a number of companies, including Amazon and Railsbank.
She has also worked for Crypto.com in the past as the company’s Compliance Director and Money Laundering Reporting Officer for its UK entity.
Since leaving the crypto firm in 2023, she has run her own compliance consulting agency and worked for ANNA – a UK banking company that provides financial services to businesses.
Crypto.com growing massively
Li’s hire is part of a wider, aggressive push that Crypto.com is making to expand globally.
In the UK, the company has hired several senior marketing executives from IG Group to drive growth.
Over in Singapore, the company also recently hired ex-Saxo Bank exec Nicolo Pagliari as its new Global VP, Growth and Media. Pagliari was previously Head of Marketing for Saxo Bank’s APAC operations.
Globally Crypto.com is still hiring for almost 500 roles – a huge number – across almost every division and product line.
