Markets.com revamps homepage, other features

Retail brokerage group Markets.com has redesigned its website and launched a new homepage.

The company has done a few rebrands over the last few years.

On this occasion, the goal seems to be in fitting with other players in the industry.

Firstly, the aim is to have an interface that looks more like something a tech firm would offer. For example, several firms, like PrimeXBT and JustMarkets, appear to have taken inspiration from Revolut when redesigning their websites.

The other feature is to keep things as simple as possible. The new design fits with that goal, which we also see in the wider industry. For example, XTB’s CEO and Plus500’s Chief Risk Officer have both said in the last 12 months that clients want simple, easy to use products. Market.com’s rebrand fits within that framework.

The company is currently making a big push in MENA. For example, its app is the third most-downloaded app in the iOS store’s finance category in the UAE and is second in Qatar. It also ranks highly in Oman and Kuwait.
