Onyx hires Tom Fawcett as Head of Dealing

Onyx Capital has hired Tom Fawcett as Head of Dealing for its retail brokerage business.

Fawcett joins the firm from IG Group. He was with IG for almost two decades, having joined the London-based broker in 2007.

He held multiple dealing roles at the firm but wast most recently Deputy Head of Equities.

Onyx is an oil broking business and also acts as a liquidity provider in the oil derivatives market.

The company launched a retail brokerage arm in the summer and has since hired a number of executives from rival brokers to lead that initiative.

Andrea Rebusco, who was with IG Group for almost a decade, is heading up the retail broker team. The firm has also hired sales people and other execs from CMC Markets, Capital.com, and SpreadCo.
